Summer is FINALLY in full swing!
The winter blues have melted away and summer is here to stay! (at least for the next few months)
You don’t need to get away in order to have some good, old fashioned summer fun. There are events happening right here in our backyard for you to enjoy.
Heart of the Hudson Valley Farmers Market
When: Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Mid-October
Where: In Milton at 1801-1805 Route 9W, Cluett Schantz Park
Celebrate the rich agricultural heritage and traditions and support local businesses with this fun farmers market. Create a meal with your favorite vegetables, bread, cheese, and more. Once you are done shopping have a picnic in our park!
West Point Town of Highlands Farmers Market
When: Every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: In Highland Falls at 401 Main St
Enjoy local, fresh produce and goods along with several different food concessions, books, music and more! The farmers market will be open until October.
Independence Day Celebration
When: July 8, 7:30 p.m.
Where: West Point at 117-119 Washington Rd
Did not get enough celebrating our country’s Independence this past weekend? Celebrate this weekend with Army’s oldest band! Grab a blanket, bring a picnic, and enjoy a wide variety of music from the West Point band! The performance will conclude with a fireworks display over the Hudson River.

The Music in the Grove Concert Series
When: Wednesday Nights July 10 through August 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: In Walden at Wooster Memorial Grove Park, 89 East Main Street
Enjoy local bands for free at Wooster Memorial Grove Park! Bring the entire family and your favorite lawn chair and enjoy a fun night out. Free refreshments will be provided by Hannaford.
Movie Night
When: July 28 at 8:15 p.m.
Where: 205 Homestead Ave, Maybrook

Black Dirt Feast
When: August 7, 6-9 p.m.
Where: Scheuermann Farms, 73 Little York Road in Warwick

Hudson Valley Benefit Concert

Where: Goshen Historic Track, 44 Park Place, Goshen
This exciting and star-studded event benefiting Hudson Valley Honor Flight will feature performers such as 18 time Grammy award winner Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra, with special guests from Saturday Night Live, actor, singer and entertainer Joe Piscopo, Chris Caffery from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Master Sgt. Florida Fun Fest

Town of Highlands Freedom Ride
When: August 26, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: Roe Park, Highland Falls
Join the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 19-5 West Point Black Knight Chapter for their 3rd Annual Town of Highlands Freedom Ride! During the ride they will journey through approximately 60 miles into the scenic roads of the Hudson Valley. will be delicious food, great music, various vendors, bouncy castles for the kids and a motorcycle raffle!
